Have You Registered As A Member Of The Pirate Party Yet?

Hello. I am Brendan Molloy, Group Co-ordinator of Pirate Party Australia.

Many of you signed up for preliminary membership near the end of last year, however, many of you have not followed up with a full membership.

Full membership is important, as in order to register as an official party, we require 500 full members. We are past the halfway point but we’re still not quite there, so we need your help!
(To read further, click read more)

Applying is very easy. Simply get the PDF from here, fill in the form, print it out, sign it and mail it to:

Pirate Party Australia
PO Box Q1715
Queen Victoria Building
NSW 1230

Alternatively, you can email it to [email protected] and you can fax it to (02) 8088 1346.

Due to AEC requirements, the application must be printed off and signed by hand in order to be valid. Therefore, if sending by email, it must be a scanned and signed copy. The party apologizes for this unfortunate but required inconvenience.

The cost of membership is only $20, and it can be paid in many convenient ways, such as by direct deposit, PayPal (using credit card or a bank account) or cheque. Additional donations are also accepted, and if you donate more than $30 plus your membership fee, you’ll be sent some swag when the party completes its registration!

Further information and the application sheets can be found at https://pirateparty.org.au/join or by clicking the large “Join” button on our homepage.

If you have any reasons or concerns holding you back from applying for membership, we would like to know. Feel free to email me directly at [email protected] and I’ll do my best to address and assist you with any of your concerns.

If you would like to know a little bit more about my work within the Pirate Party, here is a piece I had published about Conroy’s censorship proposal here.

Yours sincerely,

Brendan Molloy
