This election, you are in complete control of your own preferences.
All that anyone else can do is suggest how you should fill them out.

The Pirate Party is running in the Senate, which is the big white ballot paper.
If you’re voting above the line, you need to rank at least six groups. Our members recommend the following:

If you’re voting below the line, we trust that you can make up your own mind – just be sure to rank at least twelve candidates!

In the House of Representatives (smaller green ballot paper), you must number every square. We’re not running in the House, so we trust that you can make up your own mind there. We hope that you’ll use our Senate recommendations as a guide!

To come up with these recommendations we actually ranked every other party in the country, regardless of where and whether they’re standing candidates this election. Here’s the list.
