To all candidates Federal Electorates South East Queensland and Senate in Queensland

The Roar Supporters federation (The RSF) was formed in the A-League season 2017/18 to work with Brisbane Roar and Roar Supporters to support The Brisbane Roar Football Club and the growth and running of football (Soccer) in Brisbane. Unlike most supporter organisations the RSF are fully incorporated and have built a group of over 3500 members.

In early 2018 we surveyed our members to find what they felt was one of the major factors holding back the growth of the sport in Queensland. It was found that a Boutique Stadium with seating for around 20,000 to 25,000 was what supporters felt is required. This stadium while available to Brisbane Roar A-League (Men) team is also required for the growth of Womens and Youth football, in particular the W-League and Y-League teams as well as being available for Football Queensland to hold game for local competitions and also the National Premier League (NPL) and the FFA Cup.

We are seeking the views of all candidates in the upcoming Federal Election to ascertain if we can call on them for assistance in seeing a boutique stadium come to fruition.
