Get a Warrant Bill Submission

Protect our Privacy rallies

• Happening in 4 states of Australia this Saturday (6th July).
• Website put together by Brendan.
• 60+ expected in Brisbane, 100+ expected oin Sydney.
• Brisbane has received permits from the police and city council. Still arranging for power to be supplied to the rally site.
• Joe is spearheading the Melbourne efforts.
• Simon and Karwalski are organising the Sydney rally.

Pirate Congress 2013

• Will be held on the weekend of the 13th and 14th in Canberra.
• Dr Rimmer (ANU) will be a guest speaker.
• Minutes will be available on the wiki, and recording of presentations and guest speeches made available after the congress.
• Policy motion deadline is 9AM on the 10th of July.
• Nominations can be accepted on the congress floor.

State coordinator reports

Victoria

• #Prismbreak discussion at last meeting.
• Invitation received by Ben to speak at Free Software Melbourne.
• Some inquiries about election pamphleting and posters.

Queensland

• Last meeting disrupted by the Labor spill
• 3 new non-members at the latest in person meetup
• Beta of the PPAU Android and iPhone app demoed by David
