PDC Report Back

  • Advertising in PPAU and Fusion Discords
  • 4-5 attendees
  • Working on Republic and Planning/Devt/Housing Econ policies
  • Hopefully we'll get more people.
  • Miles invites Tyrone and Morton to get further involved with Fusion policy devt
    • extracting policy from candidates to turn it into comms, mostly

Fusion Report Backs

  • Roger: Fusion AGM to be held on October 23rd. First big post-amalgamation general meeting.
  • Miles: Victoria campaign meetings and work ongoing
    • SocMed and Comms getting set up, policy platform being nailed down
    • Vic & Qld meetups happening soon!
    • Rego looking unlikely :( Low return rates.
    • Simon only confirmed candidate so far anyway.

Membership DB going forward

  • Miles proposes opt-out integration into NationBuilder
  • Simon thinks opt out will piss a lot of people off
  • Tyrone: opt in via phone bank? Re-engagement activity as much as anything else.
  • Simon suggests making people renew with Fusion
    • Alex: we need a single source of truth.
    • "If we go in on this, it's a (relatively small) constitutional amendment and a switchover date" - AJ
