Fusion campaigns reportback

Miles:

• NSW possibility is a thing
  • obviously will have to run as indies for NSW-state in March 2023
  • Council in 2024 much easier

• Vic less likely to get formal rego :(
  • Candidates still happy to run as indies and we can give them our support
  • Help appreciated on the phones

Fusion policy reportback

Tyrone:

• Politics and Hot Takes discussion is going well, props to Sahar
• Good attendance so far!
• Aim is to inform future policy discussion
• This should hopefully start coalescing into a Fusion policy dev group

• Satch notes there's nothing stopping invididual Fusion members from putting policy forward, there's just no formal committee for it
• Miles: the parties that make up Fusion have a vital role in driving policy too, so good to keep up Pirate-PDC efforts.

• Fusion Exec Co generally happy with AJ and AL's JSCEM submission

• Reminder: Fusion AGM coming up October 23rd
  • AJ notes that Belenios doesn't really want to be used above 1000 users
  • RW/DK/AJ to sort this out for Fusion

Daylight Savings Time

• Fusion Exec to be 7:30 AEDT
• Traditionally PPAU-NC has been Xpm Sydney (so 9pm Sydney == 8pm Brisbane)
• 8pm tricky for Alex now
• Could switch NC to alternate weeks... or keep Fusion Exec Co running to time
• Preference to keep PPAU-NC as a double header to Fusion Exec Co
• Motion: 21:30 AEDT

• AJ to update calendar with new NC time

• MOTION: accept the minutes of the previous meeting on September 15th
