Privacy Breach Awards

  • Still todo: the shortlist
  • Working meeting with ordinary members invited, afternoon of Feb 25th?
  • Still need to kick the limesurvey VPS into shape

Exciting news

  • N.B. this is deliberately vague because a high-profile person is interested in joining the party
  • Discussions are progressing
  • Fusion EC updated recently
  • Next step: informal ("relational networking") meeting with NC and other core members
    • hopefully evening of Thursday 23rd
  • Talks to help be a good cultural fit

PPI updates

  • Not much to report here
  • Intention-to-rejoin-PPI presser hasn't gone out yet, can go any time

Fusion Exec Committee Reportback

  • DRC reported back
    • "I've been cleared of most charges" - Miles
  • The position of National Campaigns Coordinator is now vacant...
    • "That role was meant to be removed" - Roger
  • Working on a ToR for state committees
    • Learning from Victoria 2022
    • Need some constitutional amendments to distinguish between geographic branches and ideological branches (so people can be members of both)
    • Generally recreating federal structures in miniature for policy dev, etc
  • Also some general re-opening of wounds as to how federated-vs-centralised Fusion ought to be

General Business

  • Social Media ads / PPAU member drive
    • Chuck a couple of hundred on it
    • Tyrone requests we do a CFV
    • Alex: this is basically for a hunting license to boost a post if it's already doing well because CFVs have a 3 day turnaround
  • Fusion newsletter
    • Done
  • Trello review
    • Please check in on it!
  • Need another member mailout rolling up the press releases and announcing the working meeting for privacy awards
  • Movement at the station on net privacy happened today, but not across it yet
  • RePlanet Australia launching in Brisbane first week of April.
    • Andrea Leong coming up, someone from Finland coming
