Opening Speeches

The existing members of the Territory Council will give an outgoing speech, along with a presentation from the National Council.

Standing Orders

Standing orders to be the same as the National Congress Standing Orders

Constitutional Amendments

No constitutional amendments may be proposed by members as we are within 28 days of the Territory Congress.

Current Proposed Motions

Current proposed PPAU-ACT Territory Congress 2012 Motions can be added to by any member. If you have a proposed discussion on any aspect of Pirate politics, or a change/addition to the party platform, you can do so, by following the above directions.

Candidates for the 2012 Legislative Assembly Election

The PPAU-ACT Territory Congress 2012 Candidates page contains a list of candidates standing for party endorsement as an independent candidate for the 2012 Legislative Assembly Election, and their statements. Please add your statement as appropriate if you intend to run for election.

Territory Council Elections

As per Article 2 of the PPAU-ACT Constitution, the Territory Council will be elected after deliberation at the PPAU-ACT Territory Congress. The day will be used to discuss leadership candidates, policies, ideas and party structures. Voting will open after the deliberative process. The PPAU-ACT Territory Congress 2012 Candidates page contains a list of candidates standing for the Territory Council and their statements. Please add your statement as appropriate if you intend to run for election.

Dispute Resolution Committee Elections

As per Article 10 of the PPAU-ACT Constitution, at the PPAU-ACT Territory Congress "members of the Party must elect by simple majority three (3) members who will form the PPAU-ACT Dispute Resolution Committee. At least one member of the Dispute Resolution Committee should be legally qualified." The PPAU-ACT Territory Congress 2012 Candidates page contains a list of candidates standing for the Dispute Resolution Committee and their statements.
