Formal Motions
FM-1: Conditional withdrawal from Pirate Parties International

Motion
That the National Council be granted permission to withdraw Pirate Party Australia from Pirate Parties International if any of the following conditions are not met by 31 January, 2015:
- An online General Assembly is held.
- The following statute amendment proposals are instituted:
- Remote delegates are given equal ability to participate in the formal aspects of General Assemblies.
- Caps are introduced on the number of nominees for the Board a member of PPI may sponsor.
- An improved voting method (such as a preferential method) for electing the Board is instituted.
- A definitions section to define different types of majorities.
- The following is instituted by PPI:
- A fair and democratic process is ensured for determining who represents PPI at WIPO, WTO, etc.
- Liaison officers for regional representation are introduced (such as an Asia-Pacific Coordinator).
- The Board remains stable and does not suffer from resignations due to dysfunction.
Should any of these conditions fail to be met, the National Council may opt to withdraw the Party from PPI at its discretion.
