Australian Federal Election 2019

It is the intent of Pirate Party Australia to contest the 2019 Federal Election in accordance with our constitution and platform.

Candidate Preselection

A meeting was held on September 16th at 5:30pm on IRC to begin formally preselecting the nominated candidates. Subsequent to that meeting, an online vote was held. All nominating candidates were approved by the party membership, and ticket order for New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland was set.

Another meeting will be held on December 1st at 4PM Perth time on IRC to preselect the second candidate on the WA Senate ticket.
