Report on meeting with Senator Ludlam
- Brendan Molloy and Simon Frew met with Senator Ludlam (W.A. Greens) 11/5/12
- Greens looking to adopt sections of PPAU platform
- Milne interested in PPAU upon hearing of PPDE's success; happy with the prescence of another progressive party
- Discussed copyright review, TPPA and ACTA, differences in views between Greens and PPAU on the convergence review (media regulation)
- Possibly interest from Greens on a preference deal

Victoria Police probs use of spy drones
- Violation of PPAU's platform (privacy)
- Movement by Victoria police towards a survelliance state
- Unreasonable invasion of privacy with little benefit
- Recognition of legitimate use of drones (UAVs) e.g. farming, mining, firefighting, missing people
- Use of drones for the purpose of governmental survelliance should be limited
Congress software
- Previous congress had participation via an audio and video stream, and IRC. Will be available again this year.
- Brendan developing a remote delegate participation system (HardCongress)
- Voting on motions
- Interact with congress floor
- Dashboard displayed to remote end user and projected onto a screen at Congress
- Web based application, only javascript is required
Implementation of a LQFB system
- Mozart: "We should get this"
- David: "in my experience all the current lqfb systems are horribad"
- Will take approximately 3 months to write our own implementation in house
- Volunteers to join #ppau-pwg, project to be managed by Brendan
TPPA Meeting in Canberra
- Brendan Molloy, Mozart Palmer, Simon Frew and Rodney Serkowksi (maybe) will attend DFAT meeting re: TPPA on the 24th May
- Will push for TPPA text to be released
- FTA's should not require domestic law to be changed
- Push by DFAT for ACTA to become the IP chaptet of TPPA, despite the EU labelling ACTA 'undemocratic'
- PR to be release in support 16/05/12
- Possible meetup with Taco_Lad, @DrRimmer from ANU and Senator Ludlam. Brendan to pamphlet members of public.

- Receiving coverage on ABC and News Ltd outlets, interview on Lateline
- Update on 2012 Congress planning

- Proposed date - 14th and 15th of July
- Report to be delivered to the NC 21/05/12
- Agenda to be developed after next weeks NC meeting

- Gazette header to be replaced by Brendan
- Open letter (Drones) to be drafted by the NC and sent out as a PR
- Policy workshop to be held at 2012 National Congress
- Continued development of HardCongress by Brendan
