Registration Work Groupy

• Two new members added - one removed
• No deadline for registration set
• Currently approx 350 verified members
• 550 (the maximum) to be submitted to the AEC by Registered officer - Glen

Freedom Not Fear Update

• Saturday September 15, midday, Sydney
• David Campbell from PPAU, David Shoebridge (or John Kaye) from the Greens, Sydney Cryptoparty, and Dan Jones (Tor) will be speaking.
• Workshops on the National Security Inquiry & CCTV campaigns in local councils.
• Sam Kearns is MCing, Frew is doing music.
• Barbecue may be called off due to lack of public liability insurance.

Updating FAQ on website

• Lack of "I'm a starving artist, how do you help me?" type answers.
• Campaigns Committee will see if they can fix the FAQ.

Falkvinge CP article

• Short, simple response.
• Formal Quote: "Pirate Party Australia does not advocate the legalisation of child pornography. Rick Falkvinge is not a spokesperson or representative of any Pirate Party."

Preselections/Election

• Preselection period closed.
• Two candidates for QLD, Four for NSW
• Police Checks pending
• Frew to forward details to NC
