1.1 RWG Report

Ronan

  • Only just got data to work as of Saturday
  • Starting work this week
  • Ronan is unimpressed with the National General Sercretary, his experience with him has been un-helpful

2 Preselection

Mark to report back

  • 3 Candidates, David Crafti for Senate, David Haidon for Melbourne and Moonee Valley Council, Possible from Shannon Smith in Shepardton for Local Council
  • Discussion around where to proceed from here
    • Mark to email Shannon re local council and/or federal for a comfirmation
    • Mark to email Members re remind about 31st deadline and form of applications

Ben gives a quick update on National Sec inquiry submission. 12000 words! Amazing job all!

3 State Party Incorporation/registration

Mark and Ronan to report back?

  • Approx 150 Members in Victoria
  • 21 Days Notice needed to incorprate
  • Consitution based on the Pirate Party National one, with adjustments according to Victorian legistations if any.
  • 5 People minimum
  • Discussion around how to merge members from national party and back again
  • Pirate Party AU will have to change consitution to include people who join through PPAU-VIC this will probably need to be done for every state and territory party.
  • Timeline
    • Annouce intention for incorporation on the 1st of September, maybe

Discussion goes back to the preselection process.

  • Nominations, statement on wiki and video (of no more than 5 mins) due by 5pm 24th August
  • Balot Opens at midnight of the 25th, closes midnight of 30th.
  • Submission to national council on the 31st by Vic Coordinator

5 Pirate Party VIC Social events

  • Ronan to organise movie night with email list
  • David to organise going to the football trip with email list on the 31st of August
