Minutes

Positions

National Council agree that all positions below are relevant, and descriptions appropriate.
- Information Committee
  - Information Officer (head of committee)
    - National Council can further define responsibilities as necessary.
  - Events officer
  - Treaties officer (multiple)
  - Inquiries Officer (multiple)
  - International Relations Officer (1-2)
    - Not delegates to PPI GA – the National Council still decides on delegates.
- Campaigns Committee (mandated by last Congress)
  - Campaigns Officer (head of committee)
  - Infographics Designer (1-3)
  - General Designer (1-3)

Comment As long as the committee agrees with the relevance for the position, an Officer can create positions. The NC can require positions, the Officer can require positions along side that, but can't remove positions the NC mandates, and the committee must agree to add positions that the Officer proposes. - Brendan

Bank accounts

Campbell to open bank accounts as authorised by Rodney.

Congress

Eventbrite to be set up soon.
Initial email to be sent out before Friday.
Asher Wolf to give a presentation?

Motions

That the position above be created and advertised for a minimum of 1 month, with final appointments to be determined by a vote of the NC.
- Motion passes, four in favor, two absent.

Action items

Request for Congress theme suggestions to be put in the gazette and opening email.
Interest in bus hire for Sydney-Melbourne travel to be gauged.
Haidon to find accomodation near Ross House.
Haidon to check 3G signal strength in Ross House.
Brendan to write initial email by Friday.
