Previous meeting minutes

• Were not available and will be CFV'd for the next meeting

Replacing the Policy Development Officer

• Andrew received an email from Martin Sheridan on the 10th of October indicating that he probably wouldn't be able to continue as PDO. Martin stated that he was probably going to inform Simon of his decision soon.
  • Simon has not received any communication from Martin.
• Andrew has a potential replacement in mind.
• Secretariat has provided Michael with further contact details for Martin to seek clarification on the position.
• Proposed timeline for officer replacement is to declare the position vacant at the next NC meeting and open nominations for the following two weeks. Standard practice would dictate a further period of one week for voting.

Pirate Bureau Strategy Meeting

• The Bureau held their first meeting.
• Simon has drafted an announcement mail.
  • Dispute regarding the use of the term "Propaganda"
  • Andrew, Thomas, and Emily general against. Simon, Peter, and David Crafti for.

Updates from Thomas

Project Management

• Private install of Taiga.io setup, next step is to liaise with the IT Team to move to a PPAU server

Website theme

• Work has begun on a material design based website redesign

MemberDB

• Front end member addition works well.
• Multiple gateways supported. (but not PIN yet)
• Renewal code seems to mostly be there, investigation continues.
• Member management functionality is lacking but display works well.

General Business

NSW Fair Trading

• Mark and Peter are working with David Campbell on the returns.
