Replacing the Policy Development Officer

• Martin has resigned
• Jesse is still willing to fill the role and has the support of Andrew
• Appointment can occur at the next meeting (once Jesse's identity has been confirmed)

Meetups

• Emily:
  • Due to low number of members in Brisbane the most regular action we see is our monthly meetups.
  • The person in charge of organising said meetups has stopped doing so as of a couple of months ago due to personal issues with another member.
  • Several members have approached me to express they want to re-establish regular meetings. The handful of regulars would really like to get at least one meeting in before Christmas.
  • I don't know what the "right" course of action is but I am happy to take up the slack if I am given access to the email
• Michael will follow up on the personal issues in his role as Deputy President
• Fletcher will assist with announcement mailout access.

General Business

PAX

• Panel went well, theatre was packed and Simon met with several pirates and others in our area.

Strategy meeting

• We need to push UBI more, a specific campaign could gain some ground.
• Possibility of a regional tour, may be a good tie in with the new year and university clubs.
