Previous meeting minutes
QLD Redistribution submission
- The Queensland federal redistribution opens about now, The big three parties make redistribution submissions.
- Alex Jago would like to do a submission on behalf of the Party, has already done one recently for Tasmania.
- Agreement for Alex to go ahead, NC will liase / discuss anything that comes up as he goes.
Tall ship update/decision
- David Crafti queries whether we need to cancel it now, expressed concern around struggling to get numbers to break even.
- Simon Frew confirms if we can't pay the deposit, the event is cancelled automatically.
- Peter Fulton expressed the issue he sees is that the deposit deadline and the event are too far apart.
- General agreement any final decision by the NC on the event can be CFV before next meeting if required.
General Business
- Thomas Randle requests an update from Treasury on Party accounts to the NC for IT spending / planning.
- Andrew Downing has started new discussions around participative democracy systems with some outside parties.
