Congress prep

  • Report: Wiki is organised, Eventbrite is happening, presumably there's a FB event, Mandrake is AV lord again, policies are FINALLY updated to reflect all policy motions from last year... and we have one new nomination!
  • CAPs due this Saturday
  • "I would love to be able to argue about nominations this year" - Alex
  • Alex todo: voting server update

General Business and Reports

  • Alex's reimbursement still in progress, paper ugh
  • JohnA to get in touch with Joe Toscano and his "Public Interest Before Corporate Interest" party and try to convince them to join forces
    • Cooperatives and public housing focus -- we may have few conflicts there
    • Alex reminds John that there has to be some quid pro quo
  • John met up with a member in Sydney, good time was had by all
  • John has applied to attend the Right to Repair event in the ACT in person
    • "Try and get a four paragraph Position Statement out of that, would you? - Alex"
  • John did a quite decent CPI/Economics speech
  • More videos & video events to-do!
  • Rodney got in touch with Alex to organise domain handover, Nick is helping to sort it out

Action Items

  • Alex to ensure website calendar is up-to-date
  • Alex to update voting server
  • Alex to put out Congress reminder email on Saturday
  • Mandrke to look into multi-stream bounce server (so not just streaming to one platform)
    • Priority order for streaming destinations: Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, others
    • Streamster.io looking like the frontrunner
  • John / Alex / Mark to prepare Treasurer's Report
