ACT - Coordinator (Glen Takkenberg) Nothing Nothing Nothing None
QLD - Coordinator (Michael Keating) Nothing to report at this stage with QLD Branch formation committee. - There is one item awaiting approval from National council, being the only assistance required. -

One regularly scheduled monthly in person meeting, with exactly one attendee (see etherpad at http://pad.pirateparty.org.au/p/tas-20140612 - bloody Pirates).

Nope. Keep Counciling along as usual. Not right now.
SA - Coord (Bryn Busai) A meeting was held at the Worldsend on 2014-06-11, and nobody turned up (except me) The lack of members and a sense of fury. - Everything from a fortnight ago is still current. S.N.A.F.U.
WA - Coordinator (Fletcher Boyd) Nothing of note occurred. - - -
PDC - Officer (Mozart Olbrycht-Palmer) PDC is working on a few policies, most of which have been up on Discourse. There will be a few shortly, once exams are over. I've got a month to work on a few. We made a submission to JSCOT on Friday on the Korea-Australia Free Trade Agreement. Unfortunately it was submitted to the Senate Standing Committee that is currently looking at KAFTA also. This was my own error as a result of exam stress. Thankfully the secretariat informed me of this error, and forwarded it on to JSCOT. The submission refers erroneously to submissions made to the Senate Standing Committee, not JSCOT, so I have requested JSCOT withhold publication and grant an extension of time until this Friday. I will correct the submission and resubmit it before 5:00 pm on Friday. There will be no change of content. The Senate Standing Committee's secretariat has suggested we can submit to it also, which I will do over the weekend by simply modifying our JSCOT submission to address the other committee. - - -
Press Team - Officer (Mozart Olbrycht-Palmer) Press has been fairly quiet. A couple of interviews in, and Gizmodo published some speculation regarding KAFTA based on a blog article Brendan published himself (big thanks to him for doing so). - - -
IEC - Officer (Jack Coulter) Held our first meeting yesterday, from which two action items were decided:
  • Change meeting time from 8pm to 9pm AEST (same day and schedule otherwise)
  • Create a wiki page detailing the HTML5 EME (Encrypted Media

Extensions) DRM scheme, including supporting documents and the party's position on such schemes.

No. Nothing at the moment. None at this time.
ITWG - Officer (Jack Coulter)
Social Media - Officer (Mistress Media) I was offline for most of last week, so activity was a much lower than normal on Twitter. A lot of engagement on Facebook though.
