Pirate Party Australia uses the Schulze Condorcet preferential method for internal elections. The following text is provided to members as instructions for completing their ballots.

Instructions

All candidates were randomly shuffled when you first loaded your ballot.

Please rank the candidates. The voting system in use for this section is Schulze Condorcet preferential.

This is similar to the House of Representatives voting system used in Australia, except you may rank candidates equal (ie 1, 2, 2, 3, 3) and may choose to leave fields blank. Leaving a field blank means you wish to rank those candidates equal last. Whole numbers (integers) greater than 0 only. Candidates should be ranked in ascending order: 1, 2, 3, etc.

Positions that are missing were uncontested and defaulted to the single candidate.
