Pirate Party Australia needs your help. We are recruiting for members to serve on a variety of committees.

The National Council has now formed, and the following persons have been elected to the following positions:
- David Crafti – President
- David Gaetjens – Deputy President
- Peter Barber – Secretary
- Michael Nadler – Deputy Secretary
- Jarryd Lassen – Treasurer
- Paul Templeton – Deputy Treasurer
- Rodney Serkowski – Party Agent
Voting has begun for the Pirate Party Australia elections – the ballot has been sent to the email address you have registered your preliminary membership with, and the instructions are quite easy to follow.
A condition of voting is agreeing to the Proposed Constitution 2.1

Just an update – and some details regarding the impending election.
Applications will close on Monday, 5th October 2009 at 20:00 (AEST)

The details of the election are currently being worked out, and will be finalised soon. As you can imagine, the jump from 300 to over 1100 preliminary members in just a few short days has left what we thought would be sufficient for an election somewhat lacking.
