Member Stand Up Reports

Thomas Randle

• last week I was stuck on email for the most part
• continuning the fundraiser app, working on email templates
• I haven't finished anything from last week, so I'll delgate and continue on with finding a designer with adobe :/ and quotes for banners

Emma Roberts

• did some editing on copyright issue text and emailed it out
• Did not complete the rest that I issued ti myself, but will try this week, however I will be starting my honours tomorrow so may not assign myself more for next week except ti finish what I set for this week

• suggestion to narrow down and make more relevant to australian issues/content
• Bullet points: Try moving them to the bottom for now

David campbell

• did not manage to achieve a great deal due to work committments impinging
  • carry over last weeks plan:

• this week I am working on trade agreements text for the website
• and working on better access to our comittee through the wiki with Feenicks|Daniel (planned for Tuesday)
• and sorting out processes for people to fall back on for cc and wikifying them
  • so we have things to fall back on when lost

Chanel Gronowski

• spoke to elaine at the sydney meet up yesterday
  • we're meeting up again on saturday to do some flyer distribution in the city
  • and we want to get some sort of roster going so we're out campaigning every weekend
  • also spoke briefly on fundrasing, good probability that one will be at lowenbrau

Banner quotes

• 2x identical
• indoor material (cheaper)
• We need the ones with the base stands and probably two in total for less than $600
  • David Campbell has requested quote, hope to have answer for NC meeting approval by Wednesday

T-shirts

• discussion on t-shirts
• concern re 'hitting wall'
• tshirts have dual objectives
  • fundraising
  • something to wear for campaigning (ie publicity purposes)
• brief for a design is currently with a designer
  • others also welcome to contribute designs for consideration in addition to this as well
• previous efforts re shirts have come short due to various reasons
  • some issues with online 3rd party stores include: accountability, single account holder restrictions, logistics concerning control etc, privacy issues, ethical supply etc
• current plan:
  • development of fundraising app is in process
    • will allow group buying, targets etc (ie kickstarter type of thing)
    • goal oriented purchasing
    • uses same payment gateway as donations portal
    • once goal met, order sent to local supplier
    • Glen will then deal with order and handle shipping/logistics

• david will also get quotes on these
