Minutes
Halt on NC commitments and responsibilities until after registration
- Party registration is a top priority.
- Non-essential duties will be delegated to work groups and committees.
Copyright Review
- Due November 30th.
- Working group will be formed to tackle the submission.
- Terms of Reference (ToR) will be presented at next Tuesdays meeting.
Registration Work Group update
- Waiting on RT implementation to be completed.
- Members who have failed the AEC enrolment check will be contacted via e-mail.
- Non-responses after 3 days will be contacted by phone.
- Members can update their records online.
Transfer of responsibility for IT invoice payments to treasury

Amazon S3/Ninefold

ABC takedown of Python iView
- Services like Python iView are illegal following the Optus TVNow verdict.
- Services are responsible for the actions of their users.
- Similar in functionality to "Youtube downloaders".
- Availability of code is free speech and should not be restricted on the grounds it could possibly be used for evil.
- Issues involved:
- TPM circumvention.
- Authorisation.
- Validity of the takedown notice.
- Format shifting exceptions.
Facebook Posting Policy
- Initials of the poster to be appended in brackets to the end of all posts.
- Sexist post was made by an authorized admin on the PPAU Facebook account; only 5 people had access.
- Screenshot any odd posts before deletion.
Internet Governance Forum - October 11-12th

Freedom of Information request sent to the Classifications Board by Brendan
- sent, reply received and awaiting to "see what happens"

- Awaiting for NC members to complete paperwork for NAB and Bendigo Bank.
