PPI
- Brendan met over IRC with the co-chair of PPI, Koen de Voegt
- https://pirateparty.org.au/wiki/Minutes/Special_PPI_Meeting/2014-06-10
- it was pleasant.
- he seems to genuinely understand the issues.
- later that very same week, Brendan was threatened by Anders Kleppe (another person on the PPI board)
- in response to Brendan suggesting we needn't attend voice meetings and there needed to be asynchronous mechanisms for involvement
- Brendan forwarded the threat to the pp-leaders list
- Swedes replied to the effect that Brendan had valid critiques and should recieve an apology
- Also PPUK emailed us, NZ, CA, US regarding a communication network between this group.
- Overall, Brendan proposes that at this stage we consider withdrawing our PPI motion until next year, because we _might_ be able to fix this.
- If Koen can get an online GA in the next 6 month, we can fix the statutes.
- If it fails then propose withdrawl.
- If Koen can get an online GA in the next 6 month, we can fix the statutes.
- Brendan will discuss this as a formal item at the Congress and put a formal motion of what our attempt shall be and that we will withdraw if this requirement can't be met.
Congress
- 10 Physical, 10 online attendees RSVP so far
- Gender split on online attendees is 50/50, 20/80 physical.

- online attendees is a donation format and have donated $126.78
- early stages yet also, still lots of lead in time.
- Venue: can begin/enter at 9am, leave at 4pm Saturday and 5pm Sunday.
- Speakers: haven't received a reply from Birgitta, so we can't confirm she's speaking.
- open to suggestion as to who Brendan should approach at this point.
- Mozart will be looking for quotes for PA hire over the next two weeks.
- Could have some Discussion forums at Congress. We may have some spare time to do some general discussion of interesting things.
- This was an idea Brendan suggested for last Congress but we had too much work.
- Less things to cover/on the agenda this year
- This was an idea Brendan suggested for last Congress but we had too much work.

FOI campaign
- Pozible campaign to fund FOI requests
- http://www.pozible.com/project/183229/-1/2e071a8043e08b482d23fae44f76287a
- only stickers as reward, as we should have lots of them
- consensus that we go forward with this campaign
- expect to recieve the $1000 fairly quickly.
Quotes for product
- An earlier NC meeting passed a budget of $2k for stickers and badges combined, and $1k for shirts.
- It'll cost $325 for 500 35mm badges
- suggestion that we go for 2000 in 2 designs of 1000 each.
- maybe approx $1160 for 2000 badges (or less)
- stickers can get expensive, especially for decent quality ones that will last on a car outdoors.
- designs: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l2ivs8pm77f0i0h/3StickerDesigns.jpg
- "freedom democracy science" design for bumper stickers
- release design on twitter for feedback/reaction: http://i.imgur.com/XFXUdh1.png
- do 1000 of each design, one high quality bumper, two smaller glossy paper.
- T-shirts a bit more expensive than expected
- have decided all black so that'll save us about $250
- but the budget still blows out by $500
- new motion that the budget for shirts is now $1500 + $100 postage
- see motions
