DRC business

• The DRC has returned on 2016-1: https://pirateparty.org.au/wiki/Dispute_Resolution_Committee/Application_2016-1#Final_determination
• NC is required to provide notice to members
• Will be included in a future full member mailout (to reduce mailout volume)
• Nilay hasn't responded to emails or attended the two DRC meetings.
  • David has poked Nilay and she has set up email notifications for her party account

Secretariat

• 1421 members, several resignations due to all member mails but no significant fluctuation

Treasury

• $591.76 in cheque; $702.70 in savings; $85.48 on the debit card. This is low but not terminal, and there have been no expenditures or revenue of any significance over the past fortnight.
• Bank handover is taking longer than ideal due to ANZ requiring all existing signatories to sign off

Constitution

• Changes to the constitution from the 2016 CAPs have been written: https://github.com/ppau/documents/commits/Congress_2016
• Vote will be CFV'd and included in the minutes for the next meeting due to a lack of quorum

Pirate Party Pirate Fundraiser

• Simon is still keen on running the cruise and not skipping catering (for alcohol related reasons)
• David is concerned about low income from the event compared to the risk of not gaining enough interest
• Simon suggests that the event itself is promotional and that crowdfunding can be used to offset the risk
• Crowdfunding is difficult without a set date which cannot be settled without a non refundable deposit
• Fletcher suggests negotiating a refundable deposit (if cancelled with enough notice)

Note: after this meeting a deposit refundable until Christmas was been negotiated

Pirate Bureau

New Approvals Process

• Suggested process was Pirate Bureau specific and has been withdrawn for corrections

Uni club

General Business

NC absences

• The Constitution has been modified to automatically vacate the position when a councillor doesn't attend 4 meetings/two months. This ignores explained absences
