Phonebanking update (Alex)

  • Sent out lists to those who were willing for them
  • Mitchell and Andrew got back to me
  • More yes than no, which is good
  • Noes will be treated as post hoc resignations
  • Reminder that you have a week to do them, otherwise the pastebin expires
  • More lists in two weeks when we're less insanely busy

Stickers update (Alex)

  • Posted out on the weekend!
  • Got a few spares
  • A few people got extras in proportion to how much extra they paid
  • AJ yet to be reimbursed
    • Mitch still yet to go into ANZ and identity-verify (Sydney lockdown shenanigans)

Merger update (everyone)

  • Working groups still forming, but not necessarily producing yet
    • time clashes
    • Constitution WG met
      • liked our proposals
      • ... and defensive structures
  • Fusion level executive formation process needed asap
  • Meeting earlier tonight didn't have an agenda - Miles is busy!
  • Majors are campaigning already, time to get going
  • Andrew recommends splitting out campaign (action) from policy (the latter being detailed consideration)
  • "I vote AaronH [Science] for policy convenor" - AndrewD
  • AdrianW (VP) probably best option for Constitutional convenor
  • "We need sprints" - Roger
  • Broader network discussions on hold for now
    • basically waiting for everyone to figure out how and who is running
    • desire to keep the broader smol-left network alive

  • John to be R2R and IP spokesperson
  • Reddit AMA suggests we need more stuff on COVID too - Miles
  • "I'm worried that the anti-lockdown protests mark an attitude change" - Miles

ENC update 20-21 Nov (Alex/Miles)

  • CAPs for Fusion are basically ready
  • What was 14.4 (ii) (proportional preferential preselection) might need to be dropped (conflicts with VP constitution as it stands)
    • Changed to "PPAU reserves the right to stand a candidate on multi-tickets"
  • Also promoting additional membership categories to main constitution
  • NSW FT caps still todo
    • Alex volunteers as tribute
