    • Policy WG also taking on responsibility for some other website content
    • Request for each party to provide 2-3 paras + a quote about it as a branch
    • Policy WG is about long-term stuff as opposed to short-term "campaigns" stuff
    • Miles raises a be-aware about people trying to wedge us where our specifics differ (e.g. in the figures)
    • Dave: I actively want to see us hosting publicised internal friendly debates to get ahead of this
    • Miles: "I have not forgotten (or forgiven) the nuclear debate fiasco
    • Andrew: What I'm finding in general is that we spend a lot of time reconciling subtle differences getting to shared goals - so adversarial debate isn't necessarily the right approach here IMHO
    • Roger: No parties out there have zero internal conflict. We certainly do! And so do they, and does Fusion. I think the process is working well.
  • Constitution Ctte
    • Andrew: we got through the 'behaviour' items
  • John has been in touch with Drew Pavlou's Sydney people
    • candidate from the Tibet council
    • Show this Tuesday is a compilation show

  • John has also been reaching out to pro-copyright people
    • John Prior from Aus Ind Music Asn - recording is available
    • Miles: In 2016 we had a great discussion at PAX Aus on copyright, see if we can get that guy on for another friendly debate
  • John has another economic speech in the works

Fusion campaign and comms plan (Sahar K)

  • "In SP we have a pretty vague comms process"
  • There is now a spreadsheet! (It's good)

Strategic Plan 2022 (Miles)

  • You all got an email about this
  • Member growth goal both for PPAU specifically and for Fusion in general
  • 6 phase pipeline of non-awareness to engagement to (hopefully not) burnout
  • Dave: beware dilution in search of marketability
    • DK concerned about Fusion policies violating PPAU constitutional redlines
  • Miles: yes, member data and internal comms issues as well as 'policy' policy
  • Endorsed (see motions)

PPI report-back

  • Jay (new Foreign and Intl Rel Officer) got an interview off the back of the presser!
  • Also got to talk about Fusion and our Sydney candidates
  • Well done, Jay!
  • Jay and Miles have a positive view of PPI based on recent interactions
    • 14 parties at their recent GA, about 30 parties in PPI right now
  • What would it take for PPAU to re-join PPI?

Cryptoparties

  • This would be a nice networking and campaigning event
    • ... but it could happen after the election
    • ... and not all cities have to occur simultaneously
    • Likely capacity in Syd/Melb outside PPAU to run it
      • Brendan Clark (Science) has previously run one

    • Dave notes: does this work as a not-in-person event?
