Becoming Fusion redirect

  • "Becoming Fusion" page is currently the result on Google
  • Roger proposes making it a 301 redirect
  • Put up the launch PR and related content
  • Miles suggests that we do need a page on the Pirate relationship with Fusion
  • Roger: sure, but there's nothing Piratey on the existing page. Nor am I suggesting we give up our branding or name. It's Pirate Party _____ no matter where you are in the world.
  • Dave: Likewise I have no desire to give up the Pirate branding. But also we have an election to fight and need a united front.
  • Miles counter-suggests that the redirect may simply drop us off the front page without putting Fusion up there
  • Dave notes that all branch parties need links from frontpage to Fusion
  • New plan:
    • Formal website presser release
    • Put a link in the nav bar or elsewhere

Fusion money

  • Fusion needs dosh!
  • Budget committee requests $500 from each branch for startup/admin fees
