The first thing you should know is that the Campaigns Committee are the ones responsible for designing for campaigns. Anything released under the Pirate Party Australia brand must go through them. They are easy to reach though and always looking for helpers, so feel free to get in touch!

Identity Style Guide
The Identity Style Guide contains all the branding guidelines for Pirate Party Australia. It tells you what you can and cannot do when designing for Pirate Party Australia. This information is crucial to help ensure a uniform corporate identity across the board. The Identity Style Guide also contains the various Pirate Party Australia logos to utilise when designing for us.
Output Requirements
Output requirements are medium dependant. Sometimes something may be needed in print quality, other times web quality may be sufficient. This section will run through those different aspects.
There are two requirements that are essential across the board however. The first is making sure no copyrighted materials (for example photos, graphics etc.) are used in the design. Stick to public domain/creative commons licensed works. The second is committee/National Council approval. All designs must be approved prior to being published.
Posters
All of our poster-based campaigning is done both online and in print. This means two different outputs will be needed for each design. At this stage all of our posters are generally designed in A4 sized format.

Online
- PNG formatted image less than 2MB in size.
Using a resolution of 72 or 150dpi is recommended and helps achieve a small file size.
Print
- PDF formatted document at 300dpi.
